We stayed for two nights, and the service was amazing. Honestly, some of the best hotel staff you'll find.

We really enjoyed the private bath. It felt like a traditional Japanese inn, with futon beds, tamami floors, and an onsen. Both meals were generous and delicious. They also serve noodles in the reception area at 10pm, have yakult near the baths, and put free beer in the room's mini fridge.

We stayed in the Hoshi room in July, and the view from the window was so green. The beds were comfortable, and I slept well. The private bath looked out toward trees and bamboos, though there wasn't a breeze. The food was great, especially if you like seafood. I also really liked the seaweed cold noodles at dinner. There's ramen service from 10pm, but we were too sleepy to try it. The hotel is near Minami Ito station and offers free shuttle buses to and from Ito station. The surrounding area is residential. We took a taxi for about twenty minutes to Maboroshi Hakurankai.

It was an easy place to relax and get away from the city. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. I liked that the onsen temperature could be adjusted. I'd definitely come back.
