We were expecting a smaller room, so the apartment-like layout was a great surprise: a huge living room with futons, plus a bedroom with two beds. It beat my expectations. The lobby alcohol is good too, and guests can help themselves during the serving hours. The two onsen were lovely, and maybe we got lucky with the timing because we had them to ourselves. Karaoke rooms were great as well. The lobby is spacious, the front desk staff were great, and the shuttle was convenient. Dinner was much like other Oedo Onsen buffets, but I was surprised by how little dessert there was: just ice cream, a small amount of fruit, and one or two cakes. A few weeks earlier we’d been to the Preimum Oedo in Matsushima, which had a huge dessert selection. The dining area here also felt a little cramped. We often use Oedo Onsen, and this was a nice premium hotel. We enjoyed our stay.

The rooms were Japanese style, and the bathroom felt a bit old, but we had a good time. The buffet was the best part. We really enjoyed both dinner and breakfast and would recommend them.

The staff were polite and nice, and the room was decent. Breakfast and dinner buffets were both good. There’s a free-flow drinks machine until 11 pm, which was nice. Ito Station is a little far, around 5-6 minutes by taxi for about 1,000 yen. The car park is walkable, and they offer a free shuttle in the morning only. Overall, a good stay.

The window view was just okay, and the hotel would be even better if it were closer to the station and other sights. Still, for a budget-friendly three-star place, it was clean, comfortable, and the service was great. The breakfast buffet was more than satisfying, and the baths were wonderful. Wi-Fi is only available in the lobby. I loved the free massage chairs, drinks, and snacks.

For 2,980 yen plus tax, we got an hour in the onsen and a sushi dinner buffet you could eat from for 3.5 hours, from 5:00 to 8:30 pm. It was one of the best dinners we’ve ever had. The only thing we didn’t like was seeing ants all over the lobby near the sofa. I hope it was an isolated case. Otherwise, a very positive experience, highly recommended.
