For our first visit to Japan, this was a great place to stay. The location was comfortable and convenient, close to shops, restaurants, cafés, and major attractions. We’d happily come back and would recommend it to anyone visiting Japan. The service was excellent the whole time. Our room was clean, well kept, and had useful basics like cups and plates. The front desk staff were kind, friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with our questions.

The staff were incredibly kind and gave me a welcome Tokyo Marathon pack, such a thoughtful touch. I also liked that you can request an Apple TV at the front desk for streaming in the room. This apartment hotel was a great choice for the Tokyo Marathon. The room was clean and spacious, with a full kitchen and separate toilet and shower. The washer and dryer are on the second floor and are paid, but detergent is included. I’d highly recommend it, especially for runners coming for the Tokyo Marathon!

The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Shinjuku station. That seems like a reasonable distance on an ordinary day, but after several days of long hours walking, it can feel like forever. The stay was delightful otherwise. The room was clean and comfortable, a relaxing place to come back to after a long day. The staff were professional, helpful, and proficient in English.

Getting help with luggage delivery to our next lodging was especially useful. It was an air bnb, so the logistics weren’t straightforward, but the knowledgeable staff helped arrange it. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and Shinjuku was an easy 10-minute walk away. Great experience, and we’d definitely stay at Mimaru again.

The front desk staff were super friendly, and the whole family felt comfortable and satisfied in the room. We liked having a little space to spread out as a family of four on our first trip to Japan. It was also nice to make ourselves some tea when we arrived, and the kids enjoyed the fun toys by the front desk. A fabulous stay in Shinjuku.
