The keypad lock on the main entrance adds security, and there are convenience stores and supermarkets close by. Just be aware that booking through Booking.com could be tricky if you're not confident at parking, since the parking may be dangerous for less skilled drivers.

I needed a kitchen, so I rented a room by the month. It was almost like new and clean, with everything set up so I could get going right away. Really convenient for starting a life in Okinawa. There are a few supermarkets and convenience stores close by, along with tasty local places, including a set-meal restaurant, a shaved ice and Okinawan zenzai shop, and Yakitoriman, which is very good. Naha, IIAS, and the outlet mall are all about a 15-minute drive away, and the beach is only five minutes away. I'd happily stay here again, and could see becoming a regular.

The drive to American Village is about an hour. Ashibina Outlets is much closer, around 15 minutes away, with shopping and places to eat like Mega Don Quijote, Drug Eleven, and Sports Depot. The airport is about 25 minutes by car. It's a tidy two-room apartment with a living room, and our family of four was comfortable there.

It felt like home, and everyone in the family, from the kids to the elderly, was comfortable and had a lovely stay. We spent two great nights there. Check-in had one small snag: I couldn't work out how to open the automatic door by the elevator. I called the landlord and learned that the key goes into the keyhole below the intercom by that door. After that, check-in went smoothly.
