Hotel Az Fukuoka Itoshima

Clean and good 👍. I got a queen-size bed, yeah.

The rooms are the usual size for a Japanese hotel, and they're clean. Breakfast is a free buffet and was nicely cooked. The staff were friendly and really nice. It's great value, right by the train station and surrounded by several restaurants, a 24-hour supermarket, and McDonald's.

I was there for five days on a business trip. The breakfast was included in the price and the food was good. It's a low-cost budget hotel, and the bed and blanket cover weren't good. The Wi-Fi was extremely slow, like a 2G connection, though it might be enough for voice calls. There's a 100-yen store in the lobby, including masks. A big supermarket is open 24 hours nearby, and the train station and restaurants are within walking distance. I think it's a good option overall. You can see the morning view from the room and dining area. I also shared breakfast pictures.

The service was great, and there are a couple of good places to eat and bars within walking distance. But the whole place smells like cigarette butts. You also can't buy anything to take away from the restaurant, like a coffee.
