PACIFICO Hotel and Spa

A clean, decent business hotel with no frills and a few amenities. Breakfast is included as a bonus, and for the price, it's hard to complain.

The morning breakfast had everything and then some. The hotel was convenient and nice, with clean rooms and a smoking room.

A large public bath on the top floor has a tub that fits about four people, plus two free massage chairs nearby. There are also around five free washers and dryers, which is handy for a longer stay. The front desk staff were cheerful and friendly. The hotel is only a 3-minute walk from Iwaki Station, so access is excellent. The rooms are much like other business hotels but come with a kettle, fridge, deodorizing spray, hair dryer, disinfectant alcohol, bidet toilet, slippers, and pajamas. I especially liked the hardwood floors. All rooms are non-smoking, with a smoking area on the first floor. For the price, location, and service, I'd give it five stars. A strong recommendation for the Iwaki Station area.

March 2026. I stayed here on a visit to Iwaki. For the price, I found the service quite satisfactory. The room is adequate if you're fine with a cot and a small unit bath. The walls are thin: I heard sneezing in nearby rooms, car doors opening and closing outside my window, and laughter from the hallway in some rooms. That impression probably depends on the other guests staying that day. The bath had two empty sinks and one shower stall. The tub was smooth and well maintained, though its capacity of about three adults felt small for a hotel of this size. I don't like crowded rooms, so I went near the end of the day, but other guests seemed to have the same idea and I still didn't get any time to myself. I booked with breakfast, and it was just that: breakfast. Rice, bread, and side dishes were self-serve.
