The buffet breakfast was the best part of our stay. The sheets and towels were clean, the chambermaids were nice, and after I asked for a deep clean, they did clean the room. They were always busy with too many rooms to handle, though. We stayed for more than a week, and from check-in to check-out we had breathing allergies. Dust covered the curtains, AC vent, and carpet. They didn’t have an air purifier or filter machine when I asked. We changed rooms twice and found the same dust each time. I bought a handheld vacuum and cleaned myself; its filter filled up with dust and lint. The laundromat next door was no good, so I had to drive to another one. Never again.

The staff were very kind and helpful during our visit to momiji Island shrines. The rooms are small, as you’d expect in a business-style hotel, but it was still a very good stay.

For the price, it’s clean and not bad. Breakfast is included, and you get your own bathroom and shower, though the room is small, as at many local places. A taxi to base is around 13 yen. Staff don’t speak much English, but can manage basics, like calling a taxi. WiFi and cable internet are available.

This is a nice, affordable business hotel. The rooms are incredibly small by most American standards, but that’s normal for Japanese business hotels, so I didn’t take off stars for it. The restaurants on the ground floor have a huge range of delicious food. There’s also a large laundromat in the shared parking lot, along with a Lawson's convenience store. Lawson's ATMs won’t take American debit cards, but the 7-11 a short walk away does.
