Breakfast was fantastic, and the shower was great too. The kaiseki dinner, though, felt pretty poor to me.

The seasonal food was beautifully presented and delicious, and I really enjoyed the warm hospitality from the young proprietress and her husband. I could also see Kintaikyo Bridge from my room. My stay was all the more enjoyable, and I definitely want to come back.

We had a wonderful two-hour meal, with seasonal ingredients that looked as good as they tasted. My elderly parents enjoyed it so much they ate everything. The room was spacious and very clean, and the view of Kintai Bridge from the inn was spectacular. Since we booked early, they apparently set us up with a nice room, which we appreciated. The cherry blossoms hadn't opened yet and the weather wasn't great, but the inn still made the trip lovely. I recommend it. 😆

Right beside Kintaikyo Bridge, this ryokan was a convenient place to stay. I booked accommodation with breakfast, so I can't say how dinner is. The homemade tofu served fresh at breakfast was delicious, with a lovely soybean taste.
