The service was the best part of our stay. Mr Suzuki, the evening manager, was the kindest and friendliest man we met during our four weeks in Japan. We'll definitely be back next year. We'd been looking for a Japanese-style room in Sendai that was suitable and close to the airport, without finding one. Hotel Tetora turned out to be a great find, with a huge Japanese tatami room, a good onsen, and incredible value for money. It's 20 minutes from the airport.

We stayed here before flying out of Sendai airport the next day, and the location worked pretty well. It's a very good traditional Japanese hotel, with lots of facilities, including a playroom and a big onsen.
