It's hard to find an inn that lets you bring two large dogs, so I was glad this one did. Even with our dogs, the room had no smell and was spotless. The futon covers were clean, and we could relax there together without any problems. There's also a secure dog run on the roof. The front desk staff were very kind. When we mentioned the electricity wasn't working properly, they replaced it right away, which was a relief. Breakfast is rice balls and bento boxes prepared from 6 a.m. I plan to stay here again next time.

With the nearby public lodging facility demolished, this inn is now the only place to stay here. It's close to Fukuda Fishing Port, so I think it works well if you're fishing there or surfing at Toyohama Point.

We were grateful to find a place that welcomed our two dogs. Each dog cost an extra 3000 yen. The service was refreshingly simple, and the hot springs were lovely. Towels were available in the changing room, while the front desk had a water dispenser and tea. Amenities and yukata were self-service, so we had everything we needed. Our dogs had fun running around in the rooftop dog run, which had a great view. Dinner was filling, with sashimi, hot pot, vegetables, and pork. In the morning we took our onigiri bento to a nearby beach. The bonito flakes and kelp were delicious. The area is mostly rice fields, but a shirasu direct-sales shop is about a five-minute drive away, and we brought home plenty of fresh shirasu. I heard some famous actors filmed Godzilla here. I'd love to come back with the dogs.

I went for lunch and ordered the only option, a set course costing 5000 yen per person. It came with an appetizer, vegetable salad, hot pot, and sashimi. I couldn't help wondering whether the meal was really worth that price.

On my business trip, I picked up rice balls from the front desk for breakfast instead of eating in the restaurant. I was glad the hot spring bath was open around the clock. Dogs are welcome too, so next time I plan to bring our company's guard dog.
