Hostel Knot

Exploring the little town, eating local soba, and taking in the general atmosphere made for a lovely stay. The staff were friendly and very helpful throughout, and I appreciated all their assistance. I found Hostel Knot on booking.com, drawn by its price, location, and positive guest reviews. My private room was comfortable and reasonably priced, and the whole place was very clean. I'd recommend it to friends for its affordability and complimentary access to a nearby onsen.

Walking to the sightseeing spots was easy, and the cleanliness and tidiness were just what I expected. It was my first time at Hostel Knot, and I chose it because of the price and location. I stayed in the female dormitory and everything was perfect. The staff were all friendly and helpful, which made the visit enjoyable. I'll stay here again next time I'm in Shuzenji Onsen.

We had a lot of fun exploring town on foot, browsing the shops, and visiting the temple and shrine. I like buying incense at temples and good luck charms, and we also picked up fresh wasabi for my friend, who's a chef. Jamie was terrific, warm, welcoming, and helpful throughout our two nights at Hostel Knot. I live in South Kent, Connecticut, and joined my friend after she recommended the hostel. She likes meeting interesting people there, and I was happy to come along. The capsule-like room surprised me with how quiet it was, even with people sleeping so close together. We had lunch in the kitchen, chatted with others in the living room, enjoyed the ofuro, and slept well.

Haru patiently showed me the neighborhood restaurants and onsens, and I loved every place I tried. Shout out to Nayuta's breakfast toast and the Hostel Knot discount at Hakoyu! I had a great time at Hostel Knot over two nights. Haru and Jamie welcomed me warmly and were kind the whole stay. Jamie also helped book a nearby sushi restaurant. It was delicious, and I wouldn't have known about it or the need for a reservation without her help. The other travelers were friendly, and I enjoyed chatting and hanging out with them. There's also a newly opened bar next door called Iizuka. The town was packed with tourists during the day, then became peaceful and quiet at night, when I liked walking around.
