Pension Memoria

The lobby’s high ceiling made it feel open and comfortable, and the building itself was cute. The greenery and autumn leaves were soothing. It was my first stay at a pension, and I enjoyed the tasty, satisfying food as well.

The food was tasty, with French-style meals, and the price seemed good for a stay with two meals included. Still, I stayed for the first time on New Year’s Day, and perhaps because it was the holiday, the staff seemed short-handed. I felt the attention to detail fell short. The restaurant was cold, for example, and some tables had napkins while others didn’t. The ones that were there were sometimes dirty. The room’s air purifier also had no water in it. These were small things, but disappointing, so I gave it three stars.

We were a family group of seven, ranging from a one-year-old to people in their 70s, and had a relaxed, luxurious stay. The hospitality felt warm and sincere, and the service was lovely. The food really surprised us. The price was reasonable, but the course meal was delicious and filling. The photo only shows part of it because we got so caught up eating that we forgot to take more pictures. Thank you for the wonderful meal and for making a plate for the children. We were invited to this lovely pension and felt as if we were being treated to a feast. It warmed my heart, and we’d definitely like to stay again. Thanks so much for such a heartfelt time.

The staff were all very kind, and Pension Memoria was a wonderful place to stay. The French course was a big part of that. I’d book a meal plan if I came back. Dinner came in order, starting with an appetizer, then pasta, fish, the main meat course, and dessert. Each dish looked beautiful and showed care in its preparation, and the taste was impeccable.
