Tokinosumika Hotel Olive No Ki

The hot spring right by the hotel was a great way to end the day. We also enjoyed a refreshing bike ride and walk along the scenic river. It’s a great spot for a family with kids.

The kids were really happy to stay here. It was an interesting place.

I’ve stayed here once before, and it feels more like a cottage with a dome shape than a regular hotel. There’s a loft, and the orange-tinted lighting made the room feel a little dim. I didn’t get to bathe in Hyakusho-no-Yu, though its water is from a hot spring. Shampoo, conditioner, and body soap are supplied. In the room there were towels, pajamas, a hair dryer, electric kettle, cups, and a fridge. You can get toothbrushes and combs at reception, where there’s also a microwave. I get the sense guests have quite a bit of freedom here.

The children could unwind in the private rooms, and the baths use hot spring water. There’s a supermarket and drugstore just a short walk away, which makes things really convenient. Gre-chan, the cat at reception, is wonderful too. The front desk staff were so friendly that I’d happily come back again and again.
