Still recommend it, and hope they keep up the good work. It was clean, comfortable, and convenient. For the same price, though, some similar nearby hotels give you a bigger room and better facilities. A reduction of a few hundred yen for the type C room might make sense for what it offers.
We’re from Pakistan and stayed four days. The hotel was nice and clean, with good service. The staff understood a little English.
You do have to walk 15 to 20 minutes to the station and about 10 minutes to Lawson, so this isn’t a place for anyone who hates walking. That’s the trade-off, and I still love it. Even with 5000 yen a day for the room and another 1000 or even 2000 yen for transport, the value beats most downtown hotels around where I’ve lived.
Don’t go. Find any other accommodation.
The front desk floor had loads of amenities, even individually wrapped dental floss, which was a nice touch. Room 411 was cheap, but it wasn’t very clean 🥲. Agoda called it soundproof, yet I could hear the hallway background music inside 😂. There were just two outlets, neither beside the bed, which was inconvenient 😅. Water kept trickling from under the sink the whole time.
