Getting help after I accidentally left something behind really touched me. They had put it somewhere safe, and I’m grateful. I spent the New Year holiday relaxing at this nearby hotel I’d been wanting to try. I’d happily come back.

The hotel is right outside the station, which makes getting around easy. Breakfast comes as a set Japanese meal with several dishes. Drinks are self-serve, though the selection is limited, and I don’t think there was any juice. The portions were filling even if there wasn’t much choice.

Being right by Izumiotsu Station is handy, with plenty of restaurants around and a supermarket next to the station. My room was a good size and had been cleaned well, but the facilities were very old and had several problems. In room 614, the air conditioner control by the bed was broken, so despite the manual saying the temperature could be adjusted, I couldn’t change it and felt cold. The toilet’s wash function was broken too. The cleaning seemed fine, but it felt like nobody had checked whether the equipment actually worked. Please check room 614.

There’s loads nearby, including the station, a 100-yen shop, and AEON just a minute away.

The staff were really nice, but there was no internet.
