Apartment Hotel STAY THE Kansai Airport

We were flying out at 730AM and wanted to stay near KIX airport. The walk from the train station is fairly long, though the streets are clean. Instead, we took an Uber to the Washington hotel to catch the airport limousine, which cost a whopping $6, about 900 yen. For two people, getting from the hotel to airport terminal 2 cost only about 1500 yen. A taxi would have been between 4500 and 6000 yen. We arrived a few hours before check-in while the cleaning crew was still on site. They were very nice and let us leave our luggage, but I wouldn’t count on that being available every time. Check-in is self-service. Our room was clean and could fit up to six people. Some people mentioned noise, but we didn’t have a problem with it. We did get startled when someone opened our door in the middle of the night after getting the wrong room. We’d forgotten to lock the deadbolt, and the security latch stopped them from coming in. The deadbolt doesn’t lock automatically, and the door is labeled to say that, so that was our fault.

The hotel is a bit farther from the main room. Still, the room itself is big, clean, and very comfortable for a family. It can fit about six people and comes with kitchenware, a toaster, a fridge, and more.

The apartment was spacious and clean. It’s well situated for a late flight check-in, and an easy walk to both Rinku town and Rinku Marble Beach.

So clean, roomy, and comfortable. I’d happily come back next time.
