Kanku Izumisano First Hotel

The reception team were kind and check-in went smoothly. Our room was spotless, and the hotel was close to the train station. It also has a free airport shuttle, which came in really handy. On our two-week Japan trip we stayed at three hotels, and this one had the biggest room. I think it deserves better reviews, and it's a perfect choice if you're flying from KIX airport.

For a couple of nights, this place works well, with a good location and plenty of restaurants near the station. I stayed one night on business in the new wing. My room was clean and tidy, and the staff were lovely and helpful.

I’d happily stay here again if I’m in the area. The room they found for me was beautiful and impeccably clean, and it had green tea plus a range of toiletries beyond the usual. I’d accidentally booked a smoking room during Golden Week, when there weren’t many rooms available, but the staff and management still found a way to accommodate me. Their service was at a level you don’t come across easily. One awkward moment: housekeeping opened my door at 10am because I hadn’t put out a do not disturb sign. There wasn’t one in my room.

A really nice hotel, and the location worked well for me, just a 3-minute walk from Isumizano station. My room was clean and had everything needed for a pleasant stay. They also run a free shuttle bus to Kansai International Airport and have a complimentary drink bar until 11 pm. One of the best hotels I’ve recommended.
