Pine Villa

The garden was stunning, full of beautiful plants, and helped me relax after a long flight. I could even see the mountain from the bathtub. The staff were welcoming and nice, and the room was cozy and clean. Hineno JR station is a little far away, but free parking was convenient. This is an amazing Japanese-style hotel near Kansai Airport, and I really recommend it.

Set outside the city in a rural area, this hotel is a good fit if you're traveling by car. It has a natural garden outside and traditional-style rooms where you sleep on the floor, along with modern amenities. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The local breakfast was adequate.

The owners were incredibly helpful. When a typhoon delayed our flight by a day, we booked directly with them at a cheaper rate. They also drove us to the shopping centre so we could get food and supplies for the kids. We had booked a triple room with a garden view: it was huge, with a massive walk-in robe storage area, excellent air-conditioning, and three Western-style beds. After three weeks on tatami and mattresses of different thicknesses, those beds were awesome. There aren’t many amenities in the room, no fridge or sink, and the toilet and shower are shared with the other guests. That wasn’t a big problem for us. The place is in a village that grows lots of rice and lotus, and with the extra time we have, we’re going to explore the area a bit more.

Peaceful hotel in a residential neighborhood. I’d highly recommend it.
