The neighborhood felt safe, and our room was very clean. The host was friendly and accommodating, making sure everything went smoothly when we checked in. We had a wonderful stay at Bighem Maison and would recommend Big Maison to our friends.

The hosts at Bighem Maison were welcoming and quick to respond whenever we needed help. They offered suggestions for places to see and explained how to get there by local transport. We felt safe and comfortable, and it was like having a local friend in Japan. It makes a great base for exploring, and we'd want to return. The place is clean, cozy, and well cared for. Our room had a fridge, microwave, and toaster, plus complimentary water, tea, and a full set of toiletries, including shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, towels, and cotton buds. It's easy to pack light when the essentials are already there. Bighem Maison is in Osaka, four train stations from the airport, with a short walk from the nearest station. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Japan.

We felt safe in the area, with plenty of restaurants we enjoyed and laundry and the train station just minutes away. The owners were wonderful, kind, and quick to help whenever we needed advice. The house was spotless and beautifully designed, easily the best Airbnb of the three we've stayed in on this trip to Japan. It was a perfect stay in Osaka. Highly recommended!

A compact, artsy place with a homey feel and great value for a budget stay. The Hemmendingers run it, and they're so comfortable to be around. They take entertaining to another level. I'd recommend it to any kind of traveler.
