A modest ski resort, but a good place to ski for the price, which is 3,000 yen or less. It’s popular with locals, with few foreigners or tourists. My group were the only foreigners there on a holiday weekend. Parking is free, the dining area has tasty food at reasonable prices of 1000-1500 yen, and there’s an arcade and gaming area too.

The place is tucked quite deep in the mountains, so getting there can be a little difficult, especially if you’re driving yourself. Still, the good snow, friendly staff, delicious food, nice accommodation, and beautiful views made it well worth the trip. It was my first time skiing and snowboarding in Japan. Special thanks to Maki-san for helping us with so much. We left only two days ago and already miss the place!
