That black wall outside the window made my room feel dark and closed in, almost prison-like. There was also a sewer smell throughout the hotel, across all the floors, and the toilet in my room stank too. Other guests mentioned having the same problem, so it wasn’t limited to my room. I was there for two nights, and the odor made the stay really uncomfortable. The staff need to deal with it. The hotel does have ice, water, and an iced coffee machine, though the coffee service ends early, around 7 p.m. as I remember it. Its best feature is the location, with easy access to transport, food, and shopping around Kagoshima. I wouldn’t recommend it, especially if smells bother you or you like a brighter, more open room.

Getting around is easy from here, with the station, buses, and tram close by, and the staff were nice. The view from my room was awful. They didn’t clean for 8 days unless you paid, and the robo-dogs weren’t working, which was a shame.

Quiet, clean, and quick to check in, especially with the machine available. The robo-doggies are cute, and the location’s great, close to the station, convenience stores, restaurants, and bars. 10/10, I’d recommend it and stay again.

The hotel feels very modern, and the location is spot on, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The staff were helpful and great in both Japanese and English. Also, two adorable AI robot dogs greet you at the entrance. A wonderful place, highly recommend!

The older staff member didn’t seem very kind to me. The room was okay, a little small but compact, and had everything.
