The area is quiet, with central Kagoshima station within walking distance and a family mart nearby. The apartment had comfortable beds and enough room for a family of five or six with younger children. Appliances were new, the washer dryer combo was fantastic, and there were plenty of towels. There wasn't any tea, coffee, or sugar, but the kitchen had enough pots and pans for simple meals. You can see parts of Sakurajima from the balcony, and the nearby coin parking is reasonably priced if you have a car. Keep in mind the accommodation has three levels, and levels two and three won't suit people with mobility issues. Carrying heavy suitcases up and down the stairs may also be difficult.
