KOKO HOTEL Kagoshima Tenmonkan

I stayed two nights. The place was clean and tidy, though there aren't many facilities. There's a shabu shabu shop on the ground floor, but I didn't try it.

The view from my room was incredible, and I was very pleased with the hotel overall. I'd love to stay again when I return. Thank you.

Quiet and clean, with small rooms and a great area for finding food.

The location was a big plus even though it rained during my visit. There are covered shopping arcades close by, plus plenty of restaurants, a Don Quijote, and shopping centers within walking distance. I also tried a Japanese-style chiropractic massage. It was strong and precise, and worked surprisingly well. The hotel stores luggage before check-in and after checkout, which made it easy to explore and eat nearby. I stayed at Hotel Koko in Kagoshima in a single corner room on the 11th floor, just around the corner from the elevator. The room was compact, but the view was incredible: Sakurajima volcano during the day, and the lit-up city and planetarium at night. Within about a 10-minute walk, you can reach Terukuni Shrine and Shiroyama Observatory, surrounded by greenery with great views of Sakurajima and Kagoshima's scenery. I had a comfortable, relaxing stay and appreciated the service.
