The house sits quietly with a lovely view of the surrounding forest, and surfers will find popular spots nearby. I was passing through on pilgrimage and got to stay as an osettai. The hosts welcomed me kindly, and their wish for guests to enjoy themselves comes through in their hospitality, the homey feel, and the decor. There are toys and books for children, plus information about natural disasters and what to do. There's a hill behind the house to climb for safety in case of a tsunami. Thanks again for all your kindness. I hope to visit again.

Everything was amazing when I stayed here with friends on a surf trip in 2019, especially the host. Can't wait to come back.

The private room upstairs is spacious, and the mountain view from its window is amazing. There's a shared gathering space downstairs where you can relax. I came to learn surfing and handplane flying, and the instruction was kind and thorough. The rice-cooking experience was delicious and really fun. I'd like my children to try it too. The holy basil tea was delicious as well. I hope to come again with everyone♥

The hosts were flexible and accommodating when we talked through the weather dependent outdoor activities in advance, and that helped make our stay fantastic. The couple were wonderful, and we'd love to return. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, good for a large group, and there were even campers staying there. They offer activities as well as accommodation, including surfing, mountain climbing, fire-starting, and cooking rice, and we booked some. It's enjoyable for kids and international visitors too, since the hosts speak English.
