The hotel itself is clean and functional, pretty ordinary at first glance. What made our stay stand out was how thoughtful the staff were. In heavy rain, a staff member brought an umbrella while we walked from the car to reception. He also made sure we had breakfast space when the room was packed, and tried hard to speak English. The breakfast room staff were just as kind. Our family couldn't speak Japanese properly, but everyone did their best to make us and our young children feel welcome. Huge thanks to the whole team for that level of care.

Poor value for the money. The heating was much too high and only had an on or off setting, with no way to control it. There was no free wifi, and the breakfast was the worst I've had at a hotel in Japan.

I enjoyed staying here. The staff were friendly, breakfast was nice and the room was clean.

The large public bath was clean and comfortable, and there are plenty of free extras, like soup, coffee and midnight noodles. I was glad there was a smoking room too. Breakfast with negitoro (minced fatty tuna) and curry is quite good for 900 yen. The location is good, and while you need to check the parking lot, it's nice to be able to come and go as you please. I'm starting work in Kamaishi soon, so I'll be around more often and would like to stay here again.

The single room was a little old, but clean, roomy and relaxing. The front desk staff were very friendly, and breakfast tasted good. This was my first visit, on December 7, 2025. A note for anyone arriving by motorcycle: they'll provide a covered parking spot.
