The hotel is between the two main ski ropeways. The main bath isn't tattoo friendly for foreigners, but there's a private bath you can reserve. Staff were kind and polite and took great care of me, including giving me a ride to a local Onsen that allowed my small tattoo. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Thanks for the early check-in. The shuttle from Zao onsen bus terminal was good, and the hotel also took us to another hotel in Zao onsen the next day. The lobby interior is dated, but the rooms are well maintained. The outdoor hot spring bath is impressive and beautifully designed. Happy to stay here. Arigato.

The location on the mountain slope is a big drawback. You need the shuttle to get to the slopes, food, or a convenience store, but it only runs until 1730. Even when we had heavy gear or luggage in snowy conditions, they just told us to walk on our own. I don't recommend this hotel because of the location and service.
