Snow Freak Sunrise

The staff made the stay feel warm from the start. They picked us up at the bus terminal and were happy to drive us to places around the city, including a convenience store or a slope. We communicated with Google Translate, and we have only good things to say about the experience. The hotel looks a little old, but the rooms were clean, cozy, and free of dust. It’s right in front of a slope, and there’s a great Korean restaurant about a 2-minute walk away. You can’t buy a ski pass at the hotel itself, but you can ski or snowboard for free from its slope down to Uwanodai slope, where passes are sold. The attentive staff, cleanliness, and location made it a great base for skiing or snowboarding.
