Ofuna is a convenient base for getting around. It’s the starting station for the Shonan monorail to Enoshima, the last stop, where you can see nature, the sea, a lighthouse, flying hawks, and Mt Fuji (walking toward the lighthouse). There’s also a sea aquarium. From Enoshima Monorail station, it’s a short walk to Kamakura KoKoMae station for seaside background photos, then you can finish the day around Kamakura station with shopping on Komachi street, dinner, and a walk to the Big Buddha, which closes at 4pm. There’s a classic hanging monorail and tracks outside the hotel that make for good photos. The hotel itself is quiet, clean, accessible, and good value. The staff are helpful, and there’s a free, unlimited supply of toiletries, including bath powders for the tub, facial wash, overnight cream, face moisturizer, hair ties, combs, and tissues in packets. There’s also a fresh-brew coffee station on the ground level. The laundry has a two-in-one washer dryer, and you can choose wash only, dry only, or both. I’d stay again if I visit Tokyo. I had a pleasant two-night stay, and both check-in and check-out were easy. The front desk staff were helpful and spoke English. The lobby has good coffee, a wending machine, and a microwave, and there’s a laundry room too.

There are plenty of shops, bars, and restaurants around the hotel in Ofuna, and getting around is easy since it’s right by the railway station and mono rail. It’s a very convenient place to stay when visiting Kamakura in winter. The hotel is clean and comfortable, and the staff are friendly.

Right beside Ofuna Station, the hotel made it easy to get around Kamakura, Enoshima, Yokohama, and even Tokyo. There are plenty of nearby restaurants, shops, and cafés too. The room was clean, comfortable, and well kept, with all the essentials. The staff were friendly, professional, and helpful. They made check-in and check-out smooth and pleasant. Great value for money, and I’d happily stay here again or recommend it to anyone visiting Kamakura.

The room was clean and modern, and the hotel is right by Ofuna station. The receptionist was very kind. When we forgot our items, they helped us call the store. We really liked the free coffee machine and bath powder.
