Dinner was delicious, and the inn felt full of hospitality. It’s quite close to Ojiro Ski Resort, too. I expected the room to have no toilet or washbasin, but it did. The Wi-Fi only worked in the lobby and dining area, with a weak signal elsewhere. Since it was quiet, I got some work done where it reached, though a repeater in the rooms would be nice.

The local farmers’ white rice and the mandarin oranges at dessert were especially good. I came for a ski trip to Ojiro Ski Resort, which I enjoyed enough to make this my third visit. My room had no Wi-Fi, and SoftBank reception was poor, so there wasn’t much to do in there. The lobby had free Wi-Fi, though, and it was a fun trip. (*^^*)

Their shabu-shabu, including the yellowtail version, is superb. The inn is an old-established place very close to Ojiro Ski Resort. I especially loved the soft-shelled turtle dishes. If you’re unsure about trying them, I’d still say give them a chance. I finished everything, right through the udon and the rice porridge at the end. The ski area is small and doesn’t get crowded, so it felt safe and comfortable even with small kids.

The rooms and bathrooms are very clean. The meals are always delicious, and you can ask for an extra lunch, too. Even with a kaiseki meal, they serve soft-shelled turtle chawanmushi, so you get to sample a little of the local specialty.
