The futons were comfortable, and the rooms were really spacious. I especially loved warming up under the kotatsu. We stayed here last night for a ski trip, and both dinner and breakfast were delicious and filling. The service was wonderful, too. I’d highly recommend it.
A friendly family runs this traditional, no-frills hotel, and they were so kind while helping me even though I don’t speak Japanese. They let me keep my bicycle inside and gave me some very nice little gifts. There’s also a traditional bath house. If you’re cycling, bring food: they do cook meals, but I think you have to reserve them, and they only have a few cup noodles. Agoda seems to have some good deals. Thanks so much, I really like this place!
Pleasant stay. The corridors were cold, but the rooms were warm, the baths hot, the food good, and the staff friendly. There’s an onsen nearby. You can leave rental skis and shoes at the ski rental place by the bottom of the lift. Bring cash for the skipasses.
A quiet, family-run hotel that works well for summer hikes and winter snow mountains. The owner is a biker and can give you information about on load trips and dart trips. There’s a hot spring about a two-minute walk away. You’ll be happy with dinner, especially the local high-grade beef.
The owners were very kind, and I enjoyed my stay a lot. Everything was good.
