The shared kitchen and common area were handy, and there was a shower too. Our host was so kind and came to meet us at the door. We had a great stay, thank you 😊

There’s plenty of room in the shared spaces, and the manager was friendly. It’s a traditional Japanese house with tatami, plus a washing machine and dryer. The courtyard is lovely, and you can leave bicycles under the roof by its entrance. It’s away from the main road, but Google Maps made it easy to find.

A lovely place to pause between two days cycling the shimanami kaido. It’s a private house turned into a guesthouse, with beautiful wooden floors and tatami.

The owner was really nice, and there’s a super tasty restaurant nearby. The house is traditional Japanese, on a beautiful, peaceful island, and it’s a perfect stop while cycling through Shimanami Kaido.
