Hatagonokokoro Hashimotoya

The meals were the standout for me: they tasted fantastic and looked beautiful, with all kinds of ingredients from the local area. We stayed in Mansaku, which was relaxing and comfortable, and its private hot spring had just the right temperature. Rabbits are the hotel's theme, even appearing on things like the spoons and pots. They make the place fun to look around, and you can buy some of the items in the hotel shop.

My father, grandfather, and I stayed for one night and found the accommodation neat and clean, with warm service. Both meals were served in a private room and made with plenty of fresh local ingredients. There are separate public baths for men and women, each with an open-air tub.

The food and staff were wonderful. Since it was my birthday, they gave me a nice gift at dinner. The baths were amazing too. Highly recommend!

The person who saw me off kept waving until I was out of sight, a really nice touch. I spent one night in a bamboo-basket room with a spacious open-air bath. The room wasn't new, but it was clean, and the bath temperature was just right. Meals came in a private room, which seems to be the current style. Dinner was decent and delicious, and breakfast's freshly made omelet was especially good. I took off one star because the welcome drink didn't include draft beer due to the Asahi ransomware issue, and there wasn't a replacement beer. The other guests were disappointed too. I could also hear people in the neighboring room from the open-air bath, so it was a little noisy.
