The location worked well for me, with restaurants and a DCM supermarket close by. I bought an octopus rice bento for dinner at the nearby Taiyo supermarket, but the rice wasn't to my taste. At evening check-in, I could smell delicious curry, and it turned out home-style curry is served in the morning. The breakfast buffet leans more Japanese than Western, starts at 6:30, and let me get to my business meeting ten minutes early. You choose the dishes you want. My eight-night booking became nine nights, and I appreciated being able to keep the same room. The room was thoughtfully set up and very comfortable. They clean thoroughly every three days, while towels and loungewear are refreshed daily. Welcome coffee drinks were a nice touch, and you choose the amenities you need from the counter to the left of reception. Laundry was handy too: detergent costs 50 yen, and dryers cost 100 yen for 30 minutes. Each room has its own air conditioner, so I could set a comfortable temperature. There's also a Lossnay ventilation system, which seemed to do a great job of purifying the air. The vending machines don't take the new 1,000 yen bills or 500 yen coins, so buying drinks at a nearby mall before going to your room may be easier. Maybe because I stayed in March, motorcycles nearby were quite loud at night. I'd stay here again. Older reviews describe some terrible experiences, but I don't know when it happened; it seems the hotel has made major improvements.
It's an old but decent business hotel, with plenty of nearby places to shop and eat, including a supermarket, Mega Don Quijote, McDonald's, and various other restaurants and stores. Most guests seem to be business travelers from the nearby steel mills and factories. My room was dated but had a nice amount of space. There's an ice maker and a coffee machine too. Good, good.
I booked on Jalan and paid by credit card at the hotel. There was plenty of parking, so finding a space shouldn't be an issue, and supermarkets are only a few minutes' walk away. The hotel faces a main road, though, and you may hear motorcycles now and then. That's a real nuisance for the hotel. The room was large, with bay windows that gave me useful storage space. I liked getting a drink at check-in based on how long I was staying. The microwave is in the first-floor lobby, and the coffee server can make cappuccinos and cafe lattes as well as regular coffee. The coin laundry is on that floor too, beside the smoking area. If you add breakfast, the spacious dining area is at the back past the front desk. They serve curry and other dishes, and you can warm side dishes in the microwave.
This was my first stay here. The building is old, but the staff were friendly, and my room was spacious and clean. I appreciated them supplying an extension cord and USB cable. Breakfast was tasty, with a buffet of small dishes to choose from. Driving here may be tricky because the roads can get congested.
On my first visit, I found the room spacious, but there weren't many outlets and the location wasn't great. The free WiFi was weak, just as I'd read online, though I could still connect. Breakfast was convenient, with small dishes.
