Arabian Art Hotel & Gallery

The owners were friendly and kind, and I loved listening to their stories about Arabia. The whole stay felt more like being welcomed into their home than staying at a hotel. Our room was cute, and the little gimmicks the owner pointed out made even bedtime fun. Everything felt Arabian wherever I looked, and the place really overwhelmed me. Dinner was amazing, especially when the owner's wife set a Turkish lamp on our table. It was so beautiful that I ended up buying one. Next time I want to try making a lamp myself!

The rooftop view was beautiful. In warmer weather it would be a lovely place to sit with tea, though December was a bit cold (lol). The married couple who run the hotel were very friendly, and we had a great time. It feels homey and relaxing, and is best enjoyed by settling in and soaking up the atmosphere. By the end of the year, when I stayed, the place was sparkling clean from the entrance onward. Turkish lamps in the room and the exotic decor give it a Middle Eastern feel from the moment you walk in.

We had both breakfast and dinner, and each meal was delicious. The owners were charming, with stories so fascinating I could have listened all day. From the waiting room to the guest rooms and dining room, the carefully thought-out decor made it feel like stepping into another country, and their passion for Egyptian culture was clear. We also tried on costumes, which was fun. I want to return soon, not wait until next year. It's an easy trip from Tokyo and a great choice if you want a truly unusual experience.

I've stayed here several times and always leave very satisfied. The owners, a husband and wife, are incredibly thoughtful and helpful, and their stories about Turkey, Egypt, and other countries make the place feel like a trip abroad. I tried making a Turkish lamp. There are lots of examples and helpful tips, so even a beginner can enjoy making something beautiful. It takes quite a while, so I'd suggest checking in early. The detailed decor from the lounge to the lamp-making room also makes it warm and comfortable in winter.
