Kamaya Ryokan

We were two women staying here in mid-August on the anime plan. The room was roomy, clean, and stylish, and the food was plentiful and all delicious. We were sad to leave, lol. The homemade barley tea and miso soup were especially good. They were so tasty I wanted to depend on them for hydration for the rest of my life! There were probably three staff members who were landladies, and every one of them was friendly and helpful. We'd definitely stay again! 🙌🏻

The owner looked healthy and well, which was lovely to see. Thanks again for taking such good care of us, as always. We usually come as a big group, and this time we were two families from Osaka with a middle schooler and an elementary schooler. The owner and staff are so friendly, and the food, especially the rice, is fantastic. I even polished off the manga-sized portion, lol. I've only been here in summer so far, but I'd love to see it in winter too. Thanks so much for another great visit! (=^･^=)

I came because I wanted to try Tottori's local Babachan Nabe. I picked a plan with Tanaka Genge prepared several ways, and dinner turned out to be a generous and really enjoyable part of the trip. Babachan's flavor is fairly mild, but the seasoning made it delicious. The building looks old, though important areas have been updated with modern features, which made the stay comfortable. Each room has a private bath, and the shared toilets seem to have new heated seats. Next time I'm in the area, I'd like to try another meal plan.

In June 2021, the four of us in my family stayed here. The kids were happy, the food was delicious, and we all slept very well on the double futon mattress. If you search YouTube for "Namiyoshi Channel Kamaya Ryokan," you can get a feel for the inn in a video. Check it out 😆
