The hotel is easy to reach by bus from Kanazawa Station, and sights are within walking distance. It doesn't look like much from outside, and the rooms are small and a bit run down, but clean. The staff are friendly, and the breakfast buffet, mostly Japanese food, is really nice.

This is one of several APA Hotels in Kanazawa, on the quieter side of town in Nomachi. It's still within a 15-minute walk of central Kata-machi, where things are happening. The single room is small but adequate and clean, with a large LED TV, free WiFi, a clean bathroom, a mini fridge, and complimentary coffee and tea with a kettle. There are vending machines for beer and soft drinks, plus a coin-operated laundry machine. Nomachi train station, a Lawson convenience store, and tourist attractions are right nearby. Seems suitable for business or family stays.

The one-bedroom room is quite small, so I wouldn't recommend it if you're claustrophobic. It was also a little strange that they don't provide hand soap and say to use the body soap for everything. I'd book again, though.

The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. The rooms were a little small but had all the basics I needed. It's close enough to the big shopping areas and restaurants.

Thanks to this hotel, Kanazawa's western geisha district now has a "lovely" view of a giant green "APA" sign looming over it. I can't understand how the city approved this eyesore, especially with TWO Apa hotels already in the next district. Incredibly disrespectful!!
