Blue Hour Kanazawa

The coffee was nice, but the hostel was silent and nobody seemed to socialize. In the mixed dorm, someone used the hairdryer at 00:29, which was annoying. My bunk, number 20 above dorm #691, was dusty, and there were pubes in the shower.

I slept in the women’s dorm for three nights and loved it. The place was really clean, the bed, pillow, and blanket were comfortable, and the under-bed luggage space seemed large enough for a big suitcase. Tea and coffee are free, and you can heat food too. It’s very close to Kanazawa station.

The location right by the main train station is perfect, and I found the mixed dorm peaceful as a woman traveling alone. The facilities were clean, the beds were genuinely comfortable, and towels are included. I liked how self-service everything was: you can check yourself in, and for snacks you just leave the money. They also provide free laundry detergent and other handy little things. Awesome!
