Four Points Flex by Sheraton Kanazawa

The room was small, though for the per-person nightly price I wasn't expecting anything huge. It was tidy and modern, and the beds were comfortable. One thing to know: what looks like an AC panel is actually a heater, so there's no air conditioning in our room. That wasn't much of a problem in November, but I imagine it could get really hot in summer. Basically, it's like a UK Premier Inn.

You can walk to all the tourist spots from this well-located hotel, so there's no need for a bus. The nearby family restaurants were great, and there's a microwave in the lobby as well as a laundry room. I personally wouldn't return to Kanazawa, but if I did, I might stay here again.

We had room to move around between the beds and furniture, and there was enough space for our suitcases. The beds felt firm but comfortable, and as a side sleeper I found the pillows fine with no neck trouble. They had lots of useful amenities, including slippers, PJs, qtips, a wash cloth, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, truth brush and tooth paste, plus water refill stations on every floor. We walked everywhere from this perfect location, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

For one person or a couple with luggage, there was a comfortable amount of space, and the location was convenient. The elevators moved fairly quickly despite the number of floors, and the staff were friendly. The rooms got very hot when the central heating was on, even with the window open. The laundry machines were in high demand and didn't dry clothes well.
