The front desk staff were very polite, and the rooms were spacious and well cleaned. For the price, it felt like good value. I was drawn in by the low rate on my first reservation and visit. The exterior is impressive, though the inside shows its age, and the room door doesn't lock automatically, so you need to lock it yourself. I pulled up beside the building to ask about parking, then learned there was a gravel lot down the hill. It was disappointing to walk 100 meters in the heat, though I still checked in.

The staff spoke so quickly that I had trouble understanding them. There were strange sounds too, loud enough that I couldn't sleep.

The room was the usual small LivMax. Getting to and from the parking area was difficult. It's not far away, but it's at the bottom of a hill, so the climb up and down is hard. Keep in mind there's no parking on the hotel grounds.

The place feels a bit cramped and dated, but the price, including the accommodation fee, is excellent value. The only real drawback is the steep, heart-breaking slope back from the parking lot, which is quite a tough climb.

I picked this hotel to get easy highway access and stay out of Kanazawa city's busy areas, since I was heading to the disaster-stricken parts of the Noto Peninsula. The location works if you're going to Kanazawa Medical University, but I can't see another reason to stay here. There was barely any service. The one plus was being allowed to use a parking spot right by the entrance, which earned it two stars. I've never stayed in a smaller room, honestly, lol. The bed took up 80% of it. There was a small desk beside it, but the TV, microwave, and amenities filled it, leaving almost nowhere for my laptop. Even with all that, the room wasn't particularly cheap.
