We were really happy we chose this Kanazawa hotel. Its spot is nearly perfect, beside the lovely gardens and castle area, and between the historic geisha district and the small downtown. The service was friendly, and dinner at the ground-floor restaurant was delicious. We didn’t try the sushi place on the second floor. Our superior room in this small boutique hotel was beautiful, with lots of space, a great bathroom area, careful details, and excellent sound insulation. Highly recommended.

If you care about design, this hotel gets it right, with flawless interiors and high-quality appliances and fittings. The staff were friendly and helpful too. We’ve stayed in many hotels, and this was easily the best. It isn’t close to Kanazawa main station, but it’s only a short taxi ride away.

Our room was a Standard King Room, and it was big and comfortable. The service and hospitality were A1. The hotel is close to Kanazawa Castle and Kenrokeuen Garden. Fantastic place, no notes. If you’re weighing hotels, look no further.

The location is ideal for the gardens and castle, and the friendly staff at the front desk went well beyond the usual help. They arranged a private car trip to Noto and even tracked down a fishing tackle shop with rare Gyotaku fish prints. The food was an unexpected bonus. Book ahead for the second-floor sushi restaurant, the chef is a real sushi master.
