Kanazawa - House - Vacation STAY 84642

The house is a renovated traditional Japanese home, about 90 years old. With two floors and roughly 100 square meters of space, it feels comparable inside to a luxury inn and makes a nice choice for a little splurge. It's room-only and costs just under 30,000 yen for two people, cheaper than staying in a suite elsewhere. Meals take a bit of walking, but Kanazawa Station is an easy, leisurely 15-minute walk away, so I didn't find the location inconvenient.

The staff were especially kind when an emergency came up during my stay, and that made the whole visit feel very pleasant. The inn itself is clean, peaceful, and nicely kept, with a lot of charm. It's tucked into a residential neighborhood, so it stays quiet. There aren't many places to eat nearby, but a convenience store is close and a taxi gets you to the station or downtown in just a few minutes. It also works well as a sightseeing base. I'd stay here again.

The townhouse had such a lovely traditional feel, and the interior and furnishings were chosen with real care. The service was attentive too, everything was superb. I'd happily stay again, or even live there.
