LINNAS Kanazawa

We had a clean, comfortable two-bed private room for our last night in Japan. Tokyo Tower was a bit of a walk, but we enjoyed it. The washrooms are shared by all genders, and that was no problem at all. The private shower rooms were excellent. We didn’t get to try the great-looking lobby area where they serve food and drinks at certain times, though everyone there seemed to be having a good time. With a few more days, we definitely would have checked it out. I’d recommend staying here.

For a solo trip, I wanted somewhere clean, quiet, safe, and reasonably priced, and this hotel met all of that. The front desk staff were friendly and happy to chat or share suggestions. Omicho Market and Kanazawa Castle Park are only minutes away. I’d stay here again if I return to Kanazawa.

We were grateful to the staff for their kindness and patience while they figured out how I could get to my next destination. Linnas also offers Tamago luggage transfer, which we found very convenient. Our room matched the pictures and having a sink in it was handy. There are enough shared toilets and showers that it almost feels like having your own. We used the laundry room too, and washing and drying took about an hour and a half and cost very little. The hotel is on a quiet road just behind Omicho Market, around a 10-minute walk from the main sights, including the castle and its garden. We had a great three-night stay.

We could walk to all the sights we wanted to see, and enjoyed eating at the market and the restaurant next door. Linnas had helpful staff, good facilities, and a great location. We had a lovely stay and would come back.
