Tabist Business Hotel R Side Kanazawa

A nice little budget place, with a private room for ¥4500. The staff were very nice, and it has a mom-and-pop feel. It’s right across from a huge chain hotel. Free Wi-Fi, towels, and TV are provided, and in winter they even put out a heat blanket.

I was very happy staying here. The room was clean, the service was warm and friendly, and it’s near Kanazawa station.

I spent several nights here on a trip and was very satisfied. It was surprisingly inexpensive over a long weekend, and the location near Kanazawa Station is great. The building is showing its age, but the unit bath was clean and the front desk staff were warm and polite. There’s a coin laundry too, though we didn’t use it. It seems well suited to friends who mainly want to sightsee and don’t mind having to adjust to things. The in-house clothes are yukata, so bring your own loungewear if you don’t want your clothes coming undone.

There’s plenty of space in the double room, and the large windows keep it from feeling cramped. It’s close to Kanazawa Station, with lots of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The place isn’t new or especially stylish, but the location and convenient parking make it good value. There’s one coin laundry machine, with detergent supplied for free. The Wi-Fi was a little weak, and the door doesn’t have an automatic lock. I’d say it works especially well for business trips or longer stays.
