Kurokku
On my first trip to Ishikawa, I was really glad I chose this place for the first night. If I get the chance to stay in Kanazawa again, I’d definitely come back. They pointed us to a super public bathhouse a short walk away, so we went there instead. We got a bit chilled walking over, but there were lots of different kinds of hot springs and we had fun trying them. Our room was lovely in its attention to detail, and the food was the highlight. Some combinations were unusual, like apple and fish gratin, but everything tasted so good we finished it quickly. The bone sake was delicious too. We were two people with small appetites, though, and felt bad that we couldn’t manage all the food.
