The meals and onsen were good, and the staff looked after us well. The place does feel dated, though, with an antique feel to the room interiors. Wi-Fi only worked in the lobby, not in the rooms. At around 10,000 yen, I think the food and hot springs are fairly priced compared with other Hakone ryokan and hotels.

On a sunny day, you can see Fujisan while having breakfast. There’s also an On-sen Room to enjoy. It’s a good hotel near the Fujisan mountain area.

The rooms are quite large, but they need a lot of renovation and don’t have enough supplies. The staff can’t speak English, and the food is far too expensive.
