Arc Inn Kurosaki Plus

Even though the hotel was supposedly fully booked, I had a comfortable stay and didn't hear loud voices or footsteps from the hallway. The interior is clean and doesn't feel old-fashioned. It's a standard business hotel without a large public bath, and the station is easy to reach, so it can work well for trips to Hakata and Kokura despite being a bit far from both. Breakfast is included at no extra charge, with bread, rice, salad, curry, and several drinks. It's not luxurious, but it's perfectly adequate. My only small wish is for a power outlet by the bed.

The bed was soft, and they offered a parking discount. The room wasn't very large, but I'd definitely stay again. I chose the hotel for its breakfast bread and curry, and the staff were very polite. They even lent me an umbrella in case it rained.

I stayed for two days over the New Year holidays. The atmosphere was fine, but both days the woman at the front desk, in her 30s and wearing glasses, seemed unfriendly and rather arrogant. That was disappointing, since she didn't act like a hotel employee.

The breakfast buffet was very satisfying, with lots of bread, two kinds of curry, beef and keema, plus different salads and drinks. I came back after enjoying live music, but the centralized air-conditioning was set to heating, so it felt a little too hot while I slept...💦
