The self check-in was a bit bumpy because my phone had no battery when I arrived. There's no one at the door: you get the entry code by email, then check in on a tablet. It worked out fine in the end, and not having someone at reception probably helps keep the price good. It's a clean, comfortable place for a couple or up to four people, with a nice shared space and practical, comfy beds. Each bed has a little lamp and an electric plug. The location is good too. There's a restaurant at the front of the building, but the lodge entrance is round the back, with no way through from inside. If you eat there, I recommend the delicious meat platter.

I've stayed in plenty of AirBnbs, and this hostel is way better than good. It's awesome, with all the essentials you might need. Highly suggest it!

Only the rooms have heating, so the bathrooms and other shared areas are cold. Check-in is automatic, with no staff around to help or show you what to do. The amenities are small and weren't very clean or well maintained.

The place was pleasant and cozy, very clean, and the bedding was quite good. Staff were kind, the Wi-Fi worked well, and the toilet and shower areas were well maintained. Towels are provided, along with shampoo, conditioner, body soap, a toothbrush, and toothpaste. I heard some guesthouses don't provide towels, so that's useful to know. They also run a restaurant, though it happened to be closed today. It's close to Namba Station, but not easy to spot. The sign saying "Here!" was small or partly hidden, which made it hard to find. It was marked closed on Google Maps, but I requested a correction, and we're now operating normally. Transport access is excellent too.
