The price panels on the rooms showed around ¥7000, but if you go in trusting that amount, you can be charged more than twice as much. There was no notice about weekday rates or anything similar, and I couldn’t find the regular price listed anywhere. A love hotel area is no excuse for leaving customers guessing until they’re inside and then charging over double. Other hotels show weekday and weekend rates, or at least say when a listed rate is for weekdays. This kind of practice feels unscrupulous and unacceptable. The room was dirty too. There were holes in the ceiling, and the bathtub was so filthy I didn’t want to get in. I didn’t feel it was worth paying over 10,000 yen at all.

I started filling the tub, but the water turned yellow. The shower tap ran yellow water too. A bathroom is supposed to be where you get clean, so not being able to wash properly is awful from a hygiene point of view.
