Ryokan Miyuki

I come every year for snowboarding, but honestly, I come back just to eat Miyuki's food too. It's so good!!!

The family running the place made it feel peaceful and welcoming, and both the building and rooms were clean. We stayed with friends after hiking in Oze over Golden Week, and the location was excellent, close to the Oze First and Second parking lots. The price was surprisingly reasonable. Despite the busy season, the homemade meals were thoughtfully prepared, centered on mountain and local ingredients without any pre-made items. The 24-hour bath was a natural hot spring, leaving our skin smooth and keeping us wonderfully warm. We'd definitely stay again on another Oze visit.

The bath had a pleasantly slippery feel, and afterward I could relax at the front desk with coffee or tea. The meal focused on mountain produce and was good in both taste and portion size. I was more satisfied with the stay than I'd expected.

The homemade wild vegetables were part of a meal that was satisfying in both quality and amount. The proprietress, who gets such good reviews online, was kind and gave us warm hospitality. We used the Gunma discount, though I think the value would still be outstanding without it. The building is old, but very clean, with a spacious bathroom, and I found it comfortable.
