We checked the whole room with a hidden camera test and found one in the middle section of the bathroom mirror, a vertical rectangle about 20 cm tall. Another was inside the old-style video game machine facing the bed, which was broken and didn't work. We didn't spot any others, but there could be more. For a three-star hotel charging $50 USD a night and offering things you'd expect at a five-star place, the price seemed too good to be true. Be careful with this cheap love hotel.

After walking all the way from Kyoto toward Tokyo, I was completely worn out. I could stay there on my own, and the hotel was cheap, comfortable, and easy for a foreigner to use.

We ended up canceling and losing our money. They said kids were allowed, but you could tell as soon as you reached the entrance that it was a love hotel, not somewhere for families or business travelers.

The rooms are spacious and clean, with a jacuzzi, karaoke, and lots of amenities included.

The room was dirty, and the cleaning didn't feel like enough.
